The Appointment

A young seamstress in a clothing factory has been summoned for questioning. This is not the first time she has been called in, but this time she knows it will be worse. As she rides the tram to her interrogation, her thoughts stray to her friends and family, many of them killed, deported or crushed by Ceaușescu's brutal regime. In her distraction, she misses her stop, and on an unfamiliar street she discovers something that puts her fear of the appointment into chilling perspective.
