10 maart: boekpresentatie & interview met Mikhail Fishman (TV Rain)
Evenement in het Engels
Dear friends of Pegasus,
On March 10, Leiden University will host a public interview with Mikhail Fishman to mark the publication of his book The Successor, a meticulously researched biography of the murdered politician Boris Nemtsov and a gripping analysis of Russia’s failed attempt to become a liberal democracy. For the English-language edition, Fishman has written a new epilogue addressing the killing of opposition leader Alexei Navalny.
After a brief introduction by the author, journalist Eva Hartog will lead a conversation with Fishman, followed by an audience Q&A.
Attendees can purchase a hard copy of The Successor at our booth and have it signed by the author. The event will be live streamed as well; the link to the livestream will be added on the website of Leiden University.
