Yale UP, 590 blz., gebonden, 2015, ISBN 9780300206289

This book examines the legacy of the OUN (Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists. It is the first study to consider the movement's literature alongside its politics and ideology. Myroslav Shkandij finds that nationalism's mythmaking, best expressed in the literature, allowed the movement to exert a powerful attraction. In the interwar period seven major writers developed the narrative structures that gave nationalism much of its appeal. For the first time, the remakable impact of their work is recognized.
